This past September I presented on PDRN technology at the AAMC in Orlando, FL to physicians from all over the world in aesthetic medicine. Some had never heard of a salmon sperm facial while others from Venezuela, Ukraine, and Italy had been using it in their clinics for years. The US has been slowly but surely coming around to the technology that has been utilized in Korea and other parts of the world. PDRN has been a staple in Korean skin care for over 10 years. Korean skincare principles emphasize harmonizing with the natural environment, prioritizing skin health by reinforcing the barrier and maintaining intense hydration. This philosophy is deeply rooted in achieving long-term skin health rather than seeking quick fixes. By focusing on hydration and barrier repair, Korean skincare practices support the skin’s microbiome, reduce inflammation, and optimize cellular functions.
